Named after its second incarnation as the Railway Administration Building, the RAB Restaurant is truly an elegant dining venue, boasting the old-world charm and allure of the stately building in an intimate, charismatic dining experience without any pretentiousness.

RAB’s elegant and regal décor and architecture adds to the appeal of the space, and delicious cuisine comes meticulously presented. The menu, created from local, organic and seasonal produce from regional Victoria, is complimented with an extensive wine collection.

RAB's charming Lounge Bar...

Many spaces at the Grand Hotel & Apartments evoke an enchanting historic allure- none more so than the RAB Lounge Bar.  This is a tasteful and stylish space of understated indulgence. It is here that guests can meet and unwind in the presence of the hotels’ attentive staff, and enjoy an atmosphere of relaxed intimacy and comfort.

Low lighting and subtle music create a mood of sophistication without pretence.  Sip on Victorian boutique wines by the glass or indulge in regional tasty appetisers while taking in the surrounding photographic images of the hotel’s Railway history and other Railways of the 1910s.
